Give
The Christian life is a partnership between God and the Christian family, the Church. God is the source of all things, including our money, and we give back to Him in the form of tithes and offerings, i.e. a part of what has been given to us. This enables the church to undertake the work to which God has called us, extending the kingdom and giving glory to His name.
Legacy Sunday
Legacy is our annual thanksgiving and vision service where we seek the Lord for new initiatives that go beyond our current year, and generation. This idea that we are investing beyond ourselves.
This year, our theme in Croydon is Generation to Generation. Psalm 145 says 'One generation commends your works to another' and there are many scriptures talking about God's faithfulness to generation after generation.
Our Legacy Fund is a space to go beyond our usual giving to invest into a specific vision and theme. Our vision this year is to disciple the generations - from 0-5s, to our seniors and serving the local area, raising up a new generation through youth initiatives or even an internship.
